Guided excursion: following the steps of cigarette smugglers along the Swiss-Italian border

September 12

We will walk along the Swiss-Italian border following the steps of smugglers who, during the World War years, traded sigarettes (le bionde) but also rice, coffee and other goods. The area between Como, Switzerland and Italy was crossed by the outlaws and the police officers who chased them relentlessly. Our guide Antea of Controvento Trekking, who was born and raised in these lands, will tell us all the adventures and stories that took place in a not so distant past.
